Frequency of arrival notifications
Your notifications are set-up by your administrator when provisioning your company Bluepoint site. So you don't need to do anything should you wish to stick with the site pre-defined notification parameters
All your notification parameters can be overwritten at the time of creating the appointment via Bluepoint - not via your calendar
To see or change these notifications, press on your name - top right corner, and then select
Your profile. Choose the
Your notifications tab.
- Notify on Visitor Arrival is usually set on Always, which is the most common option. Use the drop down arrow to modify it to Never or Controlled by appointment - this latter signifies that it will be set up at the point of creating the appointment
- Notification threshold is usually set up on First, which is the most common option. Use the drop down arrow to modify it to Last one, Over half or Every visitor
- Notification method is usually set to Email. One could change it to SMS although it will trigger a cost to your company
- Confirm your changes by clicking on Save changes
We do not recommend to set your notification threshold to
Last one or
Over half for the simple reason that not all your visitors may turn up to the appointment or not even half of them. In the meantime, your first visitor will been waiting at reception for too long!
Talk to your site administrator should you wish to change your notifications from
Email to
SMS as it can have some significant costs implications
