Virtual Lobby

Virtual Lobby

Depending on the process for your building, once you have checked in a visitor the process is complete.  For some sites this means the visitor goes straight to the meeting, but for other sites the visitor may wait in the lobby area for their host to collect them, and this is replicated in Bluepoint.

Your virtual lobby can be cleared in 3 ways:
  1. Manually select the blue button with white arrow as the visitor leaves the lobby area
  2. By time limits (set in your options) as highlighted on the image above
  3. Automatically - if you are an access control integrated site, as the visitor enters via the turnstiles, they will automatically be removed from the virtual lobby.
If it’s important to know how long your visitors have been kept waiting in your lobby, Bluepoint can help. From the moment visitors are checked in to the minute they leave the lobby area, Bluepoint keeps track of all of the details. Bluepoint can even show you whether the visitor is allowed to be unescorted, or if they must wait for a staff member to collect them.
