How to extract data into Power BI?

The pre-built reports in Bluepoint are there for getting real-time views of the visitors to your building or site. However, there are times where you might want more detailed, specific data to respond to some KPIs to assess the performance of your reception team
For this you could use Power BI, a tool that helps create your own reports.
The data in and to be extracted from Bluepoint can give you the information you need. For example:
  1. Planned versus Unplanned visitors
    1. More planned visitors means less reception processing time, a slicker operation overall
  2. Arrival time of visitors
    1. to help staffing the reception accordingly against the peaks and troughs
  3. Amount of visitors checked in
    1. Is there enough space to accommodate all the visitors in my reception area?
  4. Visitor time spent on site
    1. Can my facilities cater for all the visitors in my building?
For portfolio customers, you can connect the data from different buildings for example:
  1. Trends in company types, from meeting creation through to arrival times.
  2. Reception team efficiencies, staffing levels and processing time.
Please follow the instructions in the attached PDF to start using Power BI and create your own Power BI reports or use our template - available in the attachment
