Creating calendar response for successful appointment
Your site has a default template that you need to personalise.
First you need to be an administrator or a main receptionist (administrator or main receptionist profile) of your company to perform this task
Go to the site menu -
hamburger icon - and select
Email templates
1. Select the company template you wish to change
2. Select the
Calendar Response tab
3. Click on the
E
dit icon in the
Actions column
First make sure you save it as a draft to avoid overriding the original default template
You can now open the newly saved draft template - click on the
E
dit icon in the
Actions column - to make the necessary changes.
Once you've completed the changes, click on the
Save button.
If you're satisfied with it, you now need to activate it so that it becomes your calendar template that is systematically sent to the hosts on successfully creating an appointment via their electronic calendar.
When adding your text, you must also insert this variable {{CalendarResponse}}, and this will generate a long text, itself containing some variables -so make sure your text is in line with this add-on (e.g. best to only add a title at the top and a footnote):
Your appointment was successfully created using the subject [here the subject variable is inserted] as [here an appointment number is given].
Please note: to ensure any changes made in your calendar also update your appointment, please send all updates to everyone (such as attendee changes, date changes or cancellation
4. Click on the
Active
button for the line of your newly saved template
The template editor is relatively basic. Please submit a ticket should you wish to add more sophisticated items to it
