What happens to a calendar invite when sent to Bluepoint?
Bluepoint takes the following information from the calendar invite to create the appointment:
- Sender's email in order to determine the host
- Visitors' email addresses to send the email invitations to the visitors and create the visitors' profiles
- Date & time to create the appointment start and end times
- Subject if entered - to help the receptionists team personalise visitors' greetings
- Location if entered - to help the receptionists team to direct visitors on arrival
- Content of the description field if entered - to help the receptionists team personalise visitors' greetings
In case the calendar invite contains attachments, Bluepoint will neither display nor store them
Bluepoint automatically deletes any calendar invites after the appointment has been successfully created
