Invite staff-members to site
Bluepoint is often used to invite your own staff-members to site in order to control the level of staff coming every day. This is particularly relevant when facing the recent events of the pandemic where the staff is gradually returning to work on part-time basis (e.g. 3 days a week and staggered to avoid overcrowding the space)
For Bluepoint this is no different than
inviting visitors except one will treat a staff-member (called a host in Bluepoint) like a visitor. Scheduling a control return of staff can be handled at various levels in the building organisation: at the Building Manager level, at Company Facility Manager level (or floor level) and at department level to schedule and stagger the return of their respective staff.
After you logged in to Bluepoint, click on the hamburger icon and select Appointment.
Please click
here if you need to be reminded how to create an appointment.
On the first page, you can decide to set it up as recurring (e.g. the staff-member group coming every Monday)
- On the Visitors page (page 3), start adding your staff-members in the Search field. Alternatively you can Upload a list of names via a csv (or text file) whilst having downloaded (by pressing on the light blue Download template button) and filled up the template first
- Change the type to Staff
- And should you wish to send them an email invite with QR code for them to sign in on arrival, make sure you tick the Invite tick box as per below
- Don't forget to click on the blue Finish button at the top
