Create an evacuation and print on-site visitors

The purpose of this function is to provide for the safe and orderly evacuation of employees and visitors in the event of an emergency situation.  Although many tenants/sites may have their own internal evacuation plan, using Bluepoint can help make your evacuation a seamless process as the system already has a record of all visitors within the building.
To start your evacuation,  click on the hamburger menu on the top left-hand corner, and select Evacuation

1. You will be presented with the above screen.  Click on Start Evacuation to start the process of printing out a list of all checked in visitors
2. There is also an option to order your list by tenant, which is enabled by default
3. The printout will look similar to the below image, where you can add a Fire marshal and also a checkbox where you can check off each visitor that has been accounted for

4. Once the evacuation has ended, go back into Bluepoint and complete the relevant fields here:

5. The date and time is automatically populated for the Title
6. Select the Type of evacuation from the drop-down menu, i.e. Drill, Fire Alarm or Emergency
7. Lastly, enter a Description which details what caused the evacuation
8. Click on End evacuation once those fields have been completed
To track historical events, every evacuation entry will be added as a new record at the bottom of the page
